The Crescent Park neighborhood in Palo Alto is named for the presence of crescent shaped streets, one of which is Crescent Drive, which are half-moon or crescent shaped to follow the contours of the San Francisquito Creek. This creek forms one of the borders to the Crescent Park community. Other sides are bounded by Channing Avenue, Middlefield Road and Newell Road.
