Palo Alto School Accountability Report Cards
Palo Alto Schools prepare and distribute annual School Accountability Report Cards as required by the state of CA. California public schools are required to information to the community about a school’s student achievement, environment, resources, and demographics. If you would like information about School Accountability (SARC) legislation, visit the State of California SARC home page.
School report cards generally begin with a school profile providing background information about the school and students. The profile also presents the district mission and the goals specifically set for that school.
The Palo Alto School Accountability Report also addresses the following nine major areas:
- Demographic information
- School safety and climate for learning
- Academic data
- School completion
- Class size
- Teacher and staff information
- Curriculum and instruction
- Post-secondary preparation (secondary only)
- Fiscal and expenditure data
